Meet Dazzling Designers Luke Brooks and Beth Postle

Posted on 1 June 2015 by Liverpool Biennial

On Sunday 6 June, Liverpool Biennial invites families to take part in Dazzle Dazzle at Tate Liverpool, a day of creative dazzle-inspired activities. Ahead of the event, meet fashion designers Luke Brooks and Beth Postle who will be on hand to help you create unique dazzling pieces and wear them in your own Dazzle Ball portrait.

Luke Brooks and Beth Postle are two independent designers who recently graduated from Central St. Martins' MA fashion programme. Specialising in unusual textile techniques, their work is full of eccentric shapes and bold, colourful designs.

They work together on special dual projects, the first of which was a temporary shop in London during summer 2014, selling one-off hand-painted and hand-printed clothing. They will be reunited for a second London shop this autumn, but before then, take a look at some of their best work and don't miss out on the chance to design your own quirky costume!
