15 September - 25 November 2012

Bloomberg New Contemporaries is the leading UK organisation supporting emergent art practice from British art schools.

Since 1949, Bloomberg New Contemporaries has provided a critical platform for new and recent fine art graduates primarily by means of an annual, nationally touring exhibition.

The selectors for 2012, Nairy Baghramian, Cullinan Richards, and Rosalind Nashashibi, chose defining works by the most promising artists from a range of over 1,200 submissions. Following Liverpool Biennial 2012, the show then toured to the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), 28 November 2012 – 13 January 2013.

Exhibiting artists included Jennifer Bailey, Jack Brindley, Jamie Buckley, Anita Delaney, Bryan Dooley, Freya Douglas-Morris, George Eksts, Natalie Finnemore, Nicola Frimpong, Salome Ghazanfari, Lauren Godfrey, Sarah Jones, Suki Seokyeong Kang, Piotr Krzymowski, Tara Langford, Tony Law, George Little, Evariste Maiga, Jan May, Nicole Morris, Oliver Osborne, Jennifer Phelan, Polly Read, Emanuel RÀhss, Max Ruf, Simon Senn, Jackson Sprague, Samuel Taylor and Tyra Tingleff.
