Commissioned by Liverpool Biennial in partnership with Liverpool BID Company, ‘Merseyside Totemy’ is a new public artwork that visualises statistics and figures related to the impact of climate change on the Liverpool City Region- one of the areas most at risk from rising sea levels caused by climate change.

Antony Gormley’s installation, ‘Another Place’, comprises 100 cast-iron sculptures made from 17 different moulds taken from the sculptor’s own body, installed on Crosby Beach on the Mersey Estuary, all facing the open sea, and evoking the relationship between the natural elements, space and the human body.
