This summer, we're excited to present a series of free family storytelling sessions as part of Liverpool Biennial 2025, running across four Saturdays in June and July

Led by the brilliant Storyhunters from our friends at Storybarn, these 30-minute sessions are inspired by the work of Biennial artists and explore themes such as nature, family, imagination, and big emotions. Each session will include interactive storytelling, creative movement, and themed rhyme bags to engage children of all ages. Highlights include stories about our connection to the natural world (inspired by Imayna Caceres), family heritage and belonging (inspired by Alice Rekab), navigating tricky emotions (inspired by Kara Chin), and the power of imagination (inspired by Ana Navas).
